Isaac-Moses, LPC
Clinical Trainee
I am Isaac-Moïse (Isaac-Moses) de SABA, my preferred name is “Moses.” I am completing my clinical internship II at Village Support Therapy and Consulting. I completed my clinical practicum at Hillcrest Family Services, and internship I at Crescent Community Health Center-Brain Health Clinic in Dubuque, Iowa. I am currently working on my Master of Art, Clinical Mental Health Counseling CACREP accredited program at Missouri Baptist University, Saint Louis, Missouri. I am in my last semester in the program. I have been a National Certified Counselor (NCC) since May 2024. I have a Bachelor of Science, in Bible Studies with a Theology track from Emmaus Bible College, Dubuque, Iowa. I have a passion for introducing mental health counseling and its benefits to my fellow Africans living in the USA, Europe, and Togo and encouraging them to seek mental health counseling services if necessary.
I served as a fundamentalist Baptist missionary and pastor for 12 years in my home country, Togo, West Africa after 5 years of theological college. I was the pastor of children, young people, and adults. I was also a human rights defender and adhered to Amnesty International.
In addition to English, I also fluently speak French.
